I just rec’d news, a coffee ago, that the local coffee house (of which will remain nameless for now) which I am currently sitting in writing this listening to (ACK!) Jazz, will be shutting down December 8th.
Why?
The owners have decided they don’t really want to own a coffee shop anymore. They own the building see? The want to split the coffee shop into two lease points. Now, I can understand this, but if you didn’t want to own a coffee shop in the beginning (which they said), then WHY DID YOU OPEN A COFFEE SHOP!?
Asses!
I have no sympathy for the owners of the building if they shut down the coffee shop and nobody leases the space for years to come. Which HAS happened in this town “owners of the coffee shop”! It MIGHT be differn’t if they were locals. But, alas, they are not. sometimes I feel this town is just used for planning stages of what gets opened up in neighboring cities. Kind of the “SimCity” of the midwest. It wouldn’t surprise me.
ARGH!!!!!!!!
